Eco-friendly holiday cottages and pool at historic Netherton Hall

In keeping with our reputation for high quality projects in historic settings, Amos Developments is responsible for the development of two luxury holiday cottages and swimming pool complex adjoining 17th Century Netherton Hall at Bradbourne, Derbyshire.

The Netherton Hall Eco Cottages are being created in Listed stone farm buildings in a courtyard beside the imposing Grade II Listed Hall. Individually designed to enhance original features, the cottages have luxury standard contemporary fittings and furniture.

Energy-saving features have been incorporated throughout the buildings with air source and ground source heat pumps being used to provide constant warmth through underfloor heating and abundant hot water. Log burning stoves are also fitted.

The two units, sleeping eight and two guests, add to the Hall’s first holiday cottage which opened in 2007.
The Amos team is also converting an adjacent agricultural building to become Netherton Hall’s indoor swimming pool and leisure suite. Guests using the 12-metre-long pool will enjoy panoramic views of the Derbyshire countryside through large double glazed windows.

As in the Eco Cottages, energy efficiency is being given top priority, with the pool and the leisure area heated by air source heat pumps.
