Work begins on Leek apartments

Amos Developments has begun work on an attractive development of nine apartments in Salisbury Street, Leek, for Dane Housing.

The three-storey block should make an attractive addition to the street scene in this prominent town centre location, featuring contrasting brickwork in the elevations. All the one and two-bedroom apartments will benefit from balconies leading from the open-plan living areas.

The entire project meets the high environmental and energy-saving standards as laid down in the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3. This code addresses issues such as energy usage and CO2 emissions, water usage and run-off, construction materials, minimising waste generated during construction and the provision recycling facilities.
