Affordable apartments in Leek handed over

A welcome addition to the choice of affordable homes in Leek has been made with the completion of Salisbury House, an attractive development of nine apartments in Salisbury Street, Leek, for social housing client, Plus Dane Group.

The three-storey block is a prominent addition to the town centre location, featuring contrasting brickwork in the elevations. All of the one- and two-bedroom apartments benefit from balconies leading from the open-plan living areas.

Amos Developments constructed the building to meet the high environmental and energy-saving standards in the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3. This code addresses issues such as energy usage and CO2 emissions, water usage and run-off, construction materials, minimising waste generated during construction and the provision recycling facilities.
