School House, Bradnop is the ideal choice for a large family, or a group of friends, to escape to rural a peace on the edge of the Peak District.

Location
Situated in the rural hamlet of Bradnop on the western fringe of the Peak District National Park. Close to the traditional market town of Leek – famed for its antique shops – and within easy driving distance of Buxton and Ashbourne.

Walking and outdoor pursuits including cycling and climbing are close by, with Dovedale and the Manifold Valley within easy reach. Lots of villages to explore, many with good pubs, plus Alton Towers is less than 15 minutes’ drive away.

The house
School House is an impressive detached Grade II Listed stone-built house. It has been extensively modernised to offer spacious accommodation which is furnished and equipped to a high standard.

Many original features such as beams, exposed stonework and fireplaces, have been retained and add to the character of the house.

There is an enclosed garden to the front with garden furniture and barbecue while at the rear a croft area is ideal for ball games.

Arranged over three floors, the house has five bedrooms: 2 double (one with en-suite shower room) and 3 twin (one on second floor with sloping ceiling).
