
Amos Group received CHAS accreditation

The Amos Group’s heath and safety culture has been recognised with the achievement of high-profile CHAS accreditation.
CHAS – the Government-backed Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme – gives clients the assurance that any work carried out by the Amos Group meet the construction industry’s highest standards of the health and safety.
Before approving the registration, CHAS assessors carried out a detailed vetting of the Group’s health and safety policies and procedures, making sure that we meet the standards set by the 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. Assessors also checked we are following guidance issued by both the HSE and Health and Safety Commission.
“We have a strong health and safety culture within the Group and we are pleased that this has been recognised with the award of CHAS accreditation. This is a further assurance to our clients that our activities comply with all relevant legislation,” said Health & Safety Manager Sharon Gould.
