Norbury Mill

One of two individual homes created in the original Grade II listed mill building, Norbury Mill has unique features that reflect its long history grinding corn and make this home a true “one off”. On the inside, original sections of the wooden mill machinery have been carefully preserved and incorporated to form architectural features that give a great feeling of the building’s history. Outside, the original wood and iron millwheels have been restored and are turned by water from the adjoining mill pond.

The accommodation is arranged over three floors and briefly comprises:

Ground floor: Sitting room and kitchen, with original milling machinery preserved as a memorable feature of both rooms. Oak floor and rustic staircase.

First floor: Double bedroom with en suite shower room, second bedroom, family bathroom. Exposed original oak beams and trusses.

Lower ground floor: Study/sitting room and guest bedroom. Historic mill equipment is enclosed in a contemporary glass as a feature, original stone floors.
